A good set installed badly will still run badly. Most installation problems come from ventilation, exhaust routing and cable sizing, which are cheap to plan and expensive to fix after the set is in.

- Anti-vibration mounts where the manufacturer specifies them

- A written commissioning test, with load and a record of readings
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a generator be installed inside a building?
Yes, in a purpose-built plant room with proper air in, air out, exhaust and fire protection. Ventilation is the most common thing that goes wrong.
Do I need an automatic transfer switch?
If the set backs up the mains and you want it to start and take load automatically, yes. Manual changeover works only if someone is always present.
