Electric Forklift: What to Know

Electric forklifts are quiet and have no exhaust, which suits warehouses, food plants and cold stores
They need a reliable charging supply, which in Nigeria usually means a generator or inverter, plus space and ventilation for charging
Container work needs a forklift with a suitable mast and enough capacity for loaded boxes, so state the job when you ask

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to hire a 2-ton forklift in Nigeria?

Hire rates depend on the hire period, wet or dry hire and delivery, so we do not publish a rate. Send your details on WhatsApp and we will get comparable quotes.

Diesel, LPG gas or electric: which forklift should I choose?

Diesel suits outdoor yards and rough ground. LPG gas suits mixed indoor and outdoor work with cleaner exhaust. Electric suits clean indoor work where you can guarantee charging power.

What does 500 mm load centre mean?

It is the standard distance from the fork face to the centre of the load. A 2-ton forklift lifts 2 tonnes at that distance, and less when the load is longer or lifted higher.
